Submission : Theme & Time lines… Open Call for your ideas for Nov. / Dec. 2012…Artwork with measurements no larger than 4’ wide x 5‘ high. Specifications Artworks must also be ready to hang or a pedestal provided if required. Art may extend from the wall up to 4”d. A 4’ high x 4′ long horizontal glass display case accommodates several  7” h, 3D Art.  The Annex exhibition space is not appropriate for installations.

Delivery of Artwork will be assessed for adhering to professional presentation. Staff will assist with accepting your Artwork(s), Bio, Artist Statement relative to Artwork that you plan to exhibit . Fees will be discussed based on the number of participants.

*Also at the same time you deliver your Art, allow time to complete a City of Oakland Acceptance or Waiver of Insurance Form. If you Circle acceptance of the City of Oakland Insurance, you’ll be required to pay for the coverage, in the form of a M. O. or Check, at a cost of .16 per total dollar amount value.

And Please consider increasing your selling price 30%. This is the amount the City of Oakland retains of sold Art. City of Oakland Checks are issued within 8 weeks.

Reception …If you’d like to offer a demo or a talk, please indicate that within your proposal. You can also present Art you have in protective covering, within a print bin and a flat file in the Annex Gallery.

Viewing Mon. – Fri. 9-12:30 & By Appointment . Many individuals, Students and Groups, visit and see the exhibit during hours when people have rented the adjacent room.

Retrieval of unsold Art also needs to be noted in the agreement.
