When coolness is felt, the fever has moved on.  So much I wanted to accomplish within the 4 days away from work.  What’s most needed is washing the bedding. I don’t want another occurrence of what just happened. Blah!  Gasp! Jiggly!

Deadlines have to be met. There’s the women’s theme exhibit “A Mass of Voices; A Need To Breathe”.  Then there’s the women theme exhibit “Women In A Public Space”.  Yes! the first exhibit mentioned is planned within West Oakland’s Prescott-Joseph Center For Community Enhancement, Inc. This historical building’s location  is 920 Peralta St., off 10th st. 94607.  A public reception is planned Fri. March 8, 5:00-7:00 PM.  The second exhibit is where I work, within another historical site, the Malonga Casquelourd Center For The Arts, located in Downtown Oakland, at 1428 Alice St., off 14th street, 94612.  A public reception which includes an open microphone,  is 3rd Thu. March 21, 7:00-9:00.

There's the need to stay focused, organized and deliberate, to enhance connections, community and personal projects and remain healthy in every possible way! I enjoy framing items, painting portraits, fabricating fused glass objects, projecting a positive public persona all told, giving people the best I have to offer. Sharing my talents by tutoring youth & adults and counseling visual Artists, uplifts me as well. I very much like and reference Classic & Contemporary Arts of a multitude of cultures. Here's to self care and care for others!
