Some Youth Get It

No. 1 Chakra 72 dpiBlack Lives Matter No. 1 Crown Chakra

3:16 during the afternoon of Jan. 12, 2015, 9 days after coming out the better side of a cold.

Some youth get it, twenty -30 year olds.  Their head is in the correct place.  Vulnerability is not what makes them feel comfortable. Keeping their arms at their sides or as protection across their chest, protects alignment of Chakras.

What, you’re surprised a Black youth knows about Chakras. Next time you see a Black youth with a hat on, not a hoodie per se, shielding himself from the outdoor elements, nor a cap to stroke his favorite sports team, but a righteously pleasing hat, give him a compliment.  He’s likely to say something thoughtful after his Thank You.  Yes, manners come forth.

Don’t Let Your Head (Crown) Chakra, not get nourished and stay balanced.

Black Lives Matter!

My Gouache Painting that appears here, will have various thought provoking sayings added all about the image, replicating a bulletin board. My plans are to submit this Art for consideration to be included within an exhibit “Black Lives and Art Matter”, at the Women’s Cancer Resource Center’s JanRae Community Art Gallery located at 5741 Telegraph, North Oakland 94609.    Their contact is Gallery Manager Margo Rivera Weiss                       (510) 601-4040, ext. 111

The exhibit is scheduled for Jan. 30 – March 26, 2015                                  Free public reception Fri. Jan. 30 7:00-9:00 PM

There's the need to stay focused, organized and deliberate, to enhance connections, community and personal projects and remain healthy in every possible way! I enjoy framing items, painting portraits, fabricating fused glass objects, projecting a positive public persona all told, giving people the best I have to offer. Sharing my talents by tutoring youth & adults and counseling visual Artists, uplifts me as well. I very much like and reference Classic & Contemporary Arts of a multitude of cultures. Here's to self care and care for others!
