UNCAPP Gallery has it’s first reception Sat. Nov. 6, with very pleasing public appeal!
okay so I often say in my next Life I’ll be a musician. While here, it’s great to know of musicians who are just as dedicated to their craft as Visual Artists.
I hope you’ll allow time to give a listen to Sound Oasis Band, a group I’ve just become aware.
These are New World, Jazz & Rock local guys, composer guitar player Darryl Pulley, Keyboard Player Dave Moltzen and Bass player Gearon Crockett. Tuesday night is a great night to stop into Prescott Joseph Center for as little time or the full time until 7:30. Yes this is time dated event. You can purchase your ticket(s) on Eventbrite. Look for Mindful Visions and Sound Oasis
Yes, its the middle of the week if you work a traditional M-F. Sunday, the most recent Sunday afternoon, was light filled. Beautiful jazz music played by trumpeter Eric Jekabson, soothing sounds massaged from Kasey Knudsen saxophone, John Wiitala gently bass-in with melodic keys of pianist Grant Levin all about the rafters of Julia Morgan’s designed Chapel of the Chimes. Drummer Hamir Atwal brought sounds to foot patted floor. My, my, my, to get away for 90 minutes from being reminded of the fearful death of enjoying life.
